Tabletop Tuesdays :: Place Setting Adornments

March 5, 2013

Hello Spring Event & Wedding Season 2013

We are kicking of the season with a new weekly series…

Tabletop Tuesdays!

We are talking all things tabletop when it comes to designing your tablescapes for your wedding or your next event.

Today, let’s talk about place setting adornments.

Little touches elevate events to a personal level, making them more memorable and meaningful.

For a classic floral adornment to your guests’ place setting here is some inspiration…

A neutral napkin topped with an individual gardenia bloom elevates the simple elegance of the clear glass beaded charger to another level.

You can incorporate this treatment by selecting one flower out of your overall event or wedding floral and uniformly place them on all place settings.

For a more “quirky” adornment for your guests’ place settings here is some inspiration…

For a more modern look if orange is one of your colors, you could adorn your guests’ place settings with individual little “cuties.”

For a more shabby chic look here is an example of a simple napkin treatment, tied with a crocheted heart.  That tiny touch takes a simple napkin and charger treatment to the next level, making it more memorable and meaningful.
